Privacy Policy

Scoby Studio is an independent software studio operated by two individuals. We build and maintain mobile and web applications including Pikipon, Walus, and Dano. You can reach us at antonin.marlier@gmail.com.

We only collect what is necessary to provide our services:

• Account information: email address and display name when you create an account.
• Usage data: app interactions, feature usage, and session information to improve our products.
• User-generated content: stories, characters, and other content you create within our apps (e.g., Pikipon).
• Device information: operating system, app version, and basic device identifiers for crash reporting.

We do not collect payment information directly — payments are handled by third-party processors.

• To provide and maintain our services.
• To process your requests and respond to your messages.
• To improve our apps based on usage patterns.
• To send important service-related notifications (not marketing unless you opt in).
• To comply with legal obligations.

Our apps rely on trusted third-party services. Each has their own privacy policy:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• OpenAI — AI text generation (Pikipon).
• Together AI — AI image generation (Pikipon).
• Apple / Google — app distribution and in-app purchases.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten).
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Request a portable copy of your data.

Some of our apps (including Pikipon) are designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data without consent, please contact us immediately.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure — we encourage you to use strong passwords and contact us if you suspect any security issue.

We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
